تقييم استخدام نظارات الواقع الافتراضي في تدبير سلوك الأطفال أثناء المعالجة السنية

الملخص

المقدمة: اكتسب الواقع الافتراضي شعبية في الدراسات البحثية السريرية كتقنية مبتكرة لتعديل سلوك الأطفال؛ حيث إن إدراك الألم والانتباه إليه يلعبان دوراً حاسماً في تجربة الألم. هدف هذه الدراسة هو تقييم الأثر السلوكي لاستخدام نظارات الواقع الافتراضي كطريقة من طرق تشتيت الانتباه السمعي البصري بهدف تدبير السلوك أثناء بتر لبّ الأرحاء المؤقتة.

المواد والطرائق: تألفت عينة الدراسة من 60 طفلاً قسموا إلى أربع مجموعات (n = 15) حسب المرحلة العمرية (ثانية 3-6 سنوات وثالثة 7-11 سنة)، وتقنية تدبير السلوك (يخبر-يري-يفعل، نظارات الواقع الافتراضي). تم تقييم سلوك الأطفال أثناء بتر لب إحدى الأرحاء السفلية المؤقتة. قُيّمَّ سلوك الطفل بواسطة مقياس هوبت للحركة، بالإضافة إلى مقياس معدل النبض القلبي. استخدم اختبار (Mann-Whitney U) لدراسة دلالة الفروق عند مستوى الثقة 95%.

النتائج: يوجد تحسن دال إحصائياً في سلوك أطفال المرحلة العمرية الثالثة عند استخدام نظارات الواقع الافتراضي بالمقارنة مع طرائق تدبير السلوك التقليدية، بينما تفوقت الطرائق التقليدية على نظارات الواقع الافتراضي عند أطفال المرحلة العمرية الثانية (p < 0.05).

الاستنتاجات: لنظارات الواقع الافتراضي أثر إيجابي على سلوك الأطفال خلال المرحلة العمرية الثالثة بالمقارنة مع طرائق تدبير السلوك التقليدية أثناء بتر اللب. تتفوق طرائق تدبير السلوك التقليدية على نظارات الواقع الافتراضي في تدبير أطفال المرحلة العمرية الثانية أثناء بتر اللب.
