Assessment of Nurses’ Knowledge and Skills about Dosage Calculation in Children
الملخص
المقدمة: تعتبر سلامة المرضى التحدي الأكبر في الرعاية الصحية وتصبح مبدأ أساسياً في الخدمات الصحية و زيادة سلامة اعطاء الادوية هو احد اهم الاهداف الدولية لضمان سلامة المرضى. يكون الخطر أعلى عند اعطاء الأدوية في مرحلة الطفولة مقارنة بالبالغين و تشكل الممرضات العنصر الأهم في ملاحظة الأخطاء ومنعها من أجل تقليل المخاطر في عملية إعطاء الأدوية للأطفال.
الهدف: تهدف الدراسة الى تقييم معلومات و مهارات الكادر التمريضي حول حساب الجرعات الدوائية عند الاطفال.
مواد و طرق البحث: تم اجراء الدراسة على عينة متاحة مؤلفة من 60 ممرضة من مشفى فرزات ايوب الجامعي في جامعة الحواش الخاصة في حمص و مشفى الاطفال الوطني بطرطوس, و تم جمع بيانات حول معلومات و مهارات الكادر التمريضي حول حساب الجرعات الدوائية: و تشمل اسئلة حول الصحاح الخمس, الفرق بين المل و ملغ, و مسائل حسابية حول حساب جرعات دوائية فموية و وريدية.
النتائج: اظهرت نتائج الدراسة ان غالبية الممرضات اكدن انهن يعرفن الصحاح الخمسة في اعطاء الادوية لكن فقط ربعهن ذكروا الصحاح الخمسة كاملة, معظم الممرضات لسن على دراية بنظام ال Double check في اعطاء الادوية و حوالي نصفهن فقط عرفن الفرق بين وحدات القياس. اقل من ثلث الممرضات اجبن بشكل صحيح على جميع مسائل حساب الجرعات الدوائية الفموية و الوريدية.
التوصيات: تعتبر معلومات و مهارات الكارد التمريضي حول حساب الجرعات الدوائية عند الاطفال ضعيفة نسبيا و يوصى بإجراء ورشات عمل تدريبية لزيادة مهارات الكادر التمريضي في حساب الجرعات الدوائية عند الاطفال.
