Exaggeration (effective) in Abu Tammam's poetic blog
الملخص
The Arabic language is rich in what expresses exaggeration in buildings and styles, and Abu Tammam's blog is a witness to this richness, as the nature of the etymological Arabic language provided him with buildings in which there is richness, diversity and inspiration. This research was based on extrapolating the standard formula (effective) in the poetry of Abu Tammam Al-Tai, and then analyzing the examples that have been extrapolated according to a certain method, by revealing the general connotations of this formula that benefit exaggeration, and linking those formulas to the purposes that aim at it from praise and satire, and description and lamentation, spinning and pride ... The contextual language in Abu Tammam's blog reveals the vital energy of the (effective) formula, like other formulas, manifested in its semantic diversity, and in its variation of intensity, increase, permanence, stability, eloquence and brevity. The research concluded some results, including: the need to pay attention to what was from this formula indicative of exaggeration, and what was not related to exaggeration for his exit to the nominal, or came indicative of the craft. Including that Abu Tammam benefited from his poetic ability and his wide culture in transferring the significance of the exaggerated formula from truth to metaphor, according to a distinctive poetic style.
