الملخص
تعتبر شبكة الفراغات العمرانية في المدينة بمكوناتها العقدية (ساحات، تقاطعات، مساحات خضراء...) والترابطية (شوارع، ممرات مشاة، ممرات مائية...) وعمليات الحركة فيما بينها (النقل والحركة)، من أهم الأدوات العمرانية التي تقدم من خلالها المدن لسكانها وزوارها مختلف الخدمات وتعزز الأداء الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والثقافي فيها. ومع تسارع درجة التحضر وتطور الوعي وازدياد التحديات على المستويات العالمية والمحلية على حد سواء تبدو الاستدامة هي الهدف الأهم الذي يسعى التخطيط العمراني لتحقيقه. تحقق مجموعة الفراغات العمرانية بالمدينة أفضل أداء مستدام عندما تتوفر فيها الخصائص العمرانية التي تؤهلها لاحتضان نشاط بشري كثيف، متنوع، ممتد زمنيا ومتاح للجميع. ولذلك يسعى البحث لتحديد أهم سمات شبكة الفراغات العمرانية الحيوية وخصائصها العمرانية على الصعيدين الوظيفي والفراغي في المدينة.
يقدم البحث عرضا نظريا موجزا لتطور الوعي بدور الفراغات العمرانية كشبكة متكاملة الأداء، يليه تحليلا لعدة دراسات من مدن مختلفة من العالم تشترك فيما بينها بتناول دور شبكة الفراغات العمرانية وكيفية تقييم وتحسين أدائها. ليخلص البحث إلى استنتاج مجموعة السمات التي تميز شبكة الفراغات العمرانية المستدامة في المدينة والتي يمكن من خلالها تقييم وتحسين أداء هذه الشبكة بشكل مستمر.ر
