الملخص

تُعاني النساء حول العالم من سرطان الثدي، والذي يعد أكثر أنواع السرطان فتكاً بهنّ. يمكن إنقاص معدّل الوفيّات عن طريق الفحص المنتظم والمستمر للثدي ولا سيما  الفحص الذاتي للثدي.تقييم ممارسة الموظفات في جامعة تشرين للفحص الذاتي للثدي. أجريت  دراسة وصفية كمية مستعرضة على عيّنة عنقودية عشوائية مكوّنة من 114 سيدة من النساء الموظفات في جامعة تشرين وذلك في الفترة الواقعة ما بين 1/11/2021 وحتى 5/11/2021. جمعت  البيانات باستخدام استبيانة  مصمّم من قبل الباحثين. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الحالية أنّ الغالبية العظمى من المشاركات أخطأنَ في جميع خطوات الفحص على قائمة التحقّق المُعدّة لهذا الغرض ولم يقمنَ بها بالشكل الصحيح، وكان مستوى ممارسة الفحص الذاتي للثدي ضعيفاً لدى أكثر من ثلثي العينة (69.3%)، 19.3% من المشاركات حدّدن مستوى متوسط للممارسة، 11.4% فقط كانت ممارستهنّ للفحص جيّدة. أوصت الدراسة بضرورة إجراء برامج تعليمية عن الفحص الذاتي للثدي لتحسين ممارسات النساء ورفع مستوى وعيهنّ حول هذا الإجراء المهم. إضافة إلى التشجيع على القيام بالمزيد من الأبحاث للكشف عن وجود أي ارتباط ما بين الخصائص الديموغرافية والعادات الصحية ومستوى المعرفة والاتجاهات والممارسة للفحص الذاتي للثدي.
