Methods of coping with stress among parents of autistic children in the light of some variables

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the differences in the methods of coping with stress according to the variable (the degree of autism spectrum, the order of the autism spectrum child in the family). To achieve these goals, the researcher followed the descriptive approach, and used a scale for coping with stress methods prepared by (Issa, 2019), distributed to a sample of (56) parents of autistic children in Lattakia, and the result was that there were differences in the planning method for solving problems. Parents have favor of the middle son according to the variable of the order of the child of the autism spectrum, and there are no differences in the methods of coping with the pressures of the parents according to the variable of the degree of the autism spectrum
