The Contribution Degree of the School Administration to Enhancing Social Responsibility among Students of the Second Cycle of Basic Education from the point of view of Teachers - a Field Study in Tartous City

The research aimed to reveal the contribution degree school administration in enhancing social responsibility among students of the second cycle of basic education in Tartous city of from the point of view of teachers, and to know the differences in the estimates of the members of the research sample on the contribution degree school administration in enhancing social responsibility among students according to the variables (sex, academic qualification, experience), He used the descriptive approach. The sample included (194) male and female teachers from the second cycle of basic education in Tartous city. To achieve the objective of the research, a questionnaire was designed consisting of (34) phrases. The results showed that the contribution degree school administration in enhancing social responsibility among students of the second cycle of basic education from the point of view of teachers is middle, also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the estimates of the research sample of teachers of the second cycle of basic education on the contribution degree school administration in enhancing social responsibility among students according to the variables (sex, experience), and there were statistically significant differences in the estimates of the members of the research sample according to the variable of scientific qualification in favor of holders of university degree and diploma of educational qualification. The research presented many proposals, the most important of which are: strengthening the school's relationship with the local community, motivating students to carry out volunteer work in the community, conducting another research on the role of teachers and social counselor in promoting social responsibility among students.
